What TinyFleet is
TinyFleet is browser-based software for tracking company vehicles, drivers, renewal dates, service history, fines, documents and taxable-benefit figures. It is administrative software, not legal, tax or accounting advice.
Privacy — the short honest version
- Your fleet data never reaches our servers. Everything you enter is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB) on your device. We cannot see, sell, or lose it.
- License keys: if you buy a paid plan, the license key you paste is sent to our payment provider Polar.sh solely to verify it's valid. That is the only network call the app makes with any of your input.
- Payments: checkout, billing details and invoices are handled entirely by Polar.sh as merchant of record under their privacy policy. We never receive your card details.
- Analytics: if enabled, we use cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics (page views only, no personal profiles, no cross-site tracking).
Your responsibilities
- Back up your data. Because data lives in your browser, clearing browser storage, uninstalling the browser, or losing the device erases it. Use Settings → Download backup regularly. We cannot recover data we never had.
- Verify tax figures. Country tax packs ship with editable default rates for convenience. Confirm them against your tax authority or accountant before using outputs for payroll. TinyFleet's calculations are estimates, not tax advice.
- Reminders assist, they don't guarantee. You remain responsible for meeting legal deadlines (inspections, insurance, road tax) regardless of what the software shows.
Subscriptions
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed by Polar.sh and cancellable anytime from the receipt/customer-portal link in your email. On cancellation you keep all your data (it's in your browser) and revert to the Free plan's vehicle limit for adding new vehicles. Refunds for the current month on request within 14 days of first purchase: email us.
Liability
TinyFleet is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for missed deadlines, tax miscalculations you did not verify, or data loss from cleared browser storage.
